Before you begin

  • Use the genuine application and keep private backups private.

Steps

  1. Use the hardware-wallet pairing flow with the intended device. Follow its unlock and Cardano application prompts; confirm device actions only when you initiated them.
  2. Read the exact state or error. For a failed connection, the checked interface suggests reconnecting the device.
  3. For unsupported firmware, bridge or software errors, ask support for instructions matching your device and platform. This guide does not establish firmware compatibility or prescribe updates.

Expected result

The device reaches its ready state, or you have an exact connection error for staff. Never type a hardware-wallet recovery phrase into Ariadne or a desktop troubleshooting form.

Consequences and precautions

  • Changing or approving wallet operations can affect funds.

If you cannot continue safely

  • Stop if unsure; contact human support before changing wallet data.

Keep your wallet safe

  • Never disclose recovery phrases, seed words, private keys or spending passwords.
  • Do not delete, reset or move wallet data using generic instructions.

When to contact support

  • The symptom persists after the safe diagnostic steps, or funds appear at risk.
